Role description:

The role is critical for ensuring client satisfaction, driving business growth, and fostering long-term relationships. These responsibilities create a unique leadership position that bridges strategic client management, team leadership, and operational efficiency.  

 

Requirements:

  • Ambitious individual with a business-oriented, strategic approach.
  • At least 7–10 years of experience in a marketing, advertising, or creative agency, including significant time in client-facing roles. 
  • Fluency in English - at least C1 level. 
  • Assertiveness, ability to resolve conflict situations and make difficult decisions.
  • Proven track record in senior account management or client services roles with increasing responsibilities.
  • Experience working across diverse industries (e.g., FMCG, tech, healthcare, etc.) and familiarity with client needs in those sectors. Ability to build long-term relationships with Clients.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring account teams, fostering collaboration, and motivating staff to achieve goals.
  • Analytical mindset to evaluate challenges and deliver strategic, actionable solutions.
  • Handling high-value accounts (preferably including Fortune 500 or blue-chip clients), with demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-channel campaigns.
  • Revenue Management: Budgeting and forecasting for accounts.
  • Proven track record of developing and growing clients.

Responsibilities:

  • A primary responsibility is maintaining and nurturing strong, trust-based relationships with clients.  Acting as the primary point of contact for key accounts, this role ensures effective communication and alignment between the agency and the client, addressing concerns and managing expectations promptly.
  • Responsibilities include identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services, preparing detailed proposals, and ensuring profitability across accounts.
  • Leading account teams is a central function. This includes setting goals, providing guidance, and ensuring the team has the resources and skills to succeed.
  • Coaching and mentoring junior staff also fall under this remit, ensuring professional growth within the agency.
  • Developing service-level agreements (SLAs), monitoring client satisfaction, and implementing feedback loops to improve service delivery is key.
  • This dual role involves overseeing all aspects of client projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Managing escalations and resolving issues effectively is a critical part of this responsibility. The combined role ensures that all stakeholders are aligned and any potential risks are mitigated promptly.
  • Contributes to identifying new business opportunities both within existing accounts and through new client acquisitions.
  • The bridge between the client and the agency, advocating for the agency's capabilities while ensuring the client’s needs are met.
