Global Business Development Manager

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years in an agency environment with a strong focus on eCommerce.

 

Skills:

  • Proven ability to prospect and generate leads using various methods.
  • Strong proposal and RFP writing skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of eRetailers like Amazon.
  • Excellent CRM administration skills.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Strong research skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Soft skills:

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Presentation/presenting is key.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (marketing, design, sales, etc.).
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring all content is accurate, high-quality, and aligned with company values.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Problem-solving: Capable of identifying content-related issues and implementing effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting: Identify and engage potential clients globally using various methods including telephone, LinkedIn, emails, and other digital platforms.
  • Sales Approach: Implement a focused sales strategy, prioritising research and knowledge of prospects over random cold calling.
  • Proposals and RFPs: Write and manage proposals and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to secure new business opportunities.
  • eCommerce Expertise: Leverage knowledge of eRetailers, particularly Amazon, to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • CRM Administration: Maintain and manage customer relationship management (CRM) systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date client information.
